Move & Groove Academy is back at the Freeland YMCA this Summer!

Get ready to jump, move, race, balance, stretch and have FUN all summer long. This 6-week movement-based program is designed to help kids build coordination, confidence, agility and athletic skills in a super-positive, high-energy atmosphere.

From obstacle courses to relay races to balance challenges, every session keeps kids active, smiling, and discovering what their bodies can do.

This course builds on foundational robotics knowledge to explore advanced concepts in engineering, programming, and problem-solving using LEGO SPIKE Prime kits.

Students will design, build, and program sophisticated robots capable of completing complex tasks and responding to real-world challenges. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, collaboration, and iterative design.

Bring the whole family and create art together! This fun and relaxed class invites families to explore creativity side-by-side. **This class is catered toward children ages 10-14 but can incorporate other ages for siblings.**

Level I Lego Robotics is designed for children who are just beginning with our Lego Robotics program.

Level II Lego Robotics is for children who have taken and fully understand our Level I Lego Robotics program. Children must be recommended for Level II to ensure they are ready for the class materials.

Join us for a special bonding experience designed for little ones and their favorite grown-up! Our Grown-Up & Me class offers a fun, nurturing environment where children can explore, play, and learn alongside a parent, grandparent, or caregiver.

Participants will enjoy time in our bounce house, arts & crafts, and small snacks each week.

Explore the joys of music! Students will play simple melodies on the piano and enjoy fun activities that build rhythm, note-reading, and other beginner skills.

STEM 3D Printing and Coding at the Freeland Y!

Give your child the chance to create, design and problem-solve in our hands-on STEM program. Kids will explore the world of 3D printing and computer coding, building real skills while having fun in a supportive and creative environment.

LEGO Robotics at the Freeland Y!

Our LEGO Robotics program introduces youth to the exciting world of engineering and coding through hands-on building and problem-solving challenges. Participants work with LEGO Robotics kits to design, construct and program their own creations, learning teamwork, creativity and STEM skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Classes will begin Monday June 15th and run until Wednesday August 5th

Time 10am-11am

Tiny Tumblers are at the Freeland YMCA!

Children will explore basic tumbling skills like rolling, balancing, jumping and stretching while developing coordination, body awareness and early motor skills.

Classes will be instructed by Linda from Tip, Tap, Toe Dance

Program will start Tuesday June 16th and conclude on Tuesday July 21.

Ages: 2-5 year olds

Time: 4PM-4:45PM

Cost: $40 per tumbler

Class size is limited to 10 children
