The Greater Wyoming Valley Area YMCA is a community organization for the benefit of all. We are committed to nurturing the potential of children, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. The YMCA has a 175-year foundation of moving communities forward worldwide, just as we have done here in Luzerne County since May 8, 1863.
Our mission is to put Christian principals into practice by providing programs that help the community build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
