Fishing Camp
Join us for the second year of Fishing Camp, a specialty camp program now available with day and overnight camp options! This weeklong, educational experience is designed to instruct campers of all skill levels, from beginner casting to advanced angling and fly fishing techniques.
Participants in this program will receive specialized instruction separate from standard day or overnight camp activities. The curriculum features hands-on lessons covering a multitude of topics, including knot tying, casting, macroinvertebrate studies, and understanding fish behavior and aquatic structures. Campers will also have the opportunity to apply their new skills in daily fishing competitions or travel offsite for exciting fishing trips to our local fish hotspots!
All fishing gear and equiptment is provided, but personal fishing equiptment is allowed.
Day Fishing Camp
Participants will ride the day camp buses into camp and join day camp during the opening ceremony. Afterwards, they will gather with their counselor and begin their daily curriculum. On select days, they may travel offsite to try fishing for other species at some local hotspots! Towards the end of the day they will have the opportunity to either rejoin day camp’s campers choice periods or they can join a daily fishing competition based on what they learned each day.
This program offers an unforgettable fishing education and experience while keeping the best parts of our day camp program!
