YMCA Camp Kresge’s day camp is a great opportunity for children ages 6-12 to get outdoors, learn valuable skills, and make new friends.
-Day Camp sessions are offered weekly, Monday through Friday, from June 7 through August 20. The camp day is from 9am-4pm.
-Daily transportation on the Camp Bus is available from select areas, including Wilkes-Barre, Mountain Top, Freeland, and Pittston. Bus stop times and locations will be announced soon.
-Activities include archery, arts & crafts, boating, climbing tower, high & low ropes courses, nature & STEM classes, team building, swimming/aqua park, and specialties like archery tag, mountain biking, digglers, photography, sailing, riflery, and more!
-Daily transportation on a camp bus is available from pre-determined bus stops, including locations in Wilkes-Barre, Pittston, Drums, Freeland, Mountain Top, and White Haven. Pick up times vary by location.

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Explore the wild jungle, search through the savanna, and roam the spacious grasslands as we go on a summer safari.
For campers ages 13-16, YMCA Camp Kresge offers the Teen Adventure Camp, a program focused on leadership, community service, and outdoor adventure.
-Teen Adventure Camp sessions are offered weekly, Monday through Friday, from June 7 through August 20. The camp day is 9am-4pm.
-Campers will participate in traditional camp activities, as well as community service and leadership development projects.
-Each week features a trip to a local state park, with overnight camping trips every other week (tentative; based on travel restrictions).
Teen Adventure Camp Rates
Explore the great outdoors with a field trip to Hickory Run State Park on Thursday. Campers will hike the beautiful trails and climb through the famous boulder field.
On Thursday, campers will travel to Nescopeck State Park for hiking and a community service project. They will return to Camp Kresge for an overnight campout at the outpost located on camp property.
Campers will visit the beautiful Lehigh Gorge State Park on Thursday to go for a biking trip on the D&L Trail.
Take in the fresh air and beauty of summer as we explore the trails at Eurana State Park. Followed by an overnight campout at Camp Kresge!
See over a dozen waterfalls on the rigorous hiking trail at Ricketts Glenn State Park.
Join us for a thrilling canoe trip on the Lehigh River, followed by an overnight campout.
Campers will get to complete the 10 mile biking trail, which begins near Camp Kresge and ends in the town of White Haven. This flat, gravel trail is perfect for a day of biking and includes a few historical stops along the way!
Campers will enjoy hiking trails and a sand beach, perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day! Followed by an overnight campout at Camp Kresge.
Pack your bags for a day of exploration at Beltzville State Park!
Enjoy the last few days of summer while hiking at Hickory Run State Park, followed by an afternoon of swimming in the lake. Finish the day with an overnight campout at Camp Kresge.
On this last trip of the season, campers will have the chance to get outdoors and have fun! Goldsboro State Park features rugged trails that are challenging but rewarding, as well as a sand beach for swimming.
