Bernie has been a long-time supporter of YMCA Children’s programming – most recently our new child care facility located in Forty Fort. The Charlotte L. Casterline M.D. Early Learning Center is now open to serve children from the Forty Fort and Kingston communities: feeding them, teaching them and ultimately providing them with a safe place to learn and grow.
Durelle and Connie are champions of the YMCA Annual Support Campaign, inspiring support for the scholarship fund that provides Y services for families experiencing financial challenges. Our YMCA turns no one away for inability to pay and without the generosity of the Scotts and others like them, these scholarships wouldn’t be available for those who need them the most.
A Pittston native, our YMCA community is close to Kevin’s heart. The Y’s newest child care site, Mericle Family Center for Early Childhood Education, will be equipped to serve approximately 160 children and youth in a state-of-the-art facility in Pittston Township – coming soon!
Jim Kerns and QproQ Engineering are passionate about providing children and their families with access to the camp experience where life skills are learned and memories are made. YMCA Camp Kresge, located on Beaver Lakes in White Haven hosts outdoor education and summer camp programs for children and families of all ages.
Our mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body FOR ALL.
