The Leader in Training Program is a two-week overnight session for campers ages 13–14 who are ready to strengthen their leadership skills and take on new challenges at camp. This program bridges the gap between camper and counselor by combining hands-on learning with practical experience in group settings.

LITs take part in a babysitter certification course, which includes child and infant CPR training, and teaches key skills in behavior management, teamwork, and communication. Participants also engage in team-building activities, leadership workshops, and opportunities to design and help facilitate camp programs.

Through guided experience and reflection, LITs learn the foundations of effective leadership, build confidence, and prepare for future opportunities in our Counselor in Training Program.
